This successful initiative has already received speakers such as C\u00e9sar Bona, candidate for the <em>Global Teacher Prize<\/em>, known as the Nobel Prize for teachers; Aitor S\u00e1nchez, nutritionist, food technologist, and science communicator; Chema Alonso, hacker and <em>Chief Data Officer<\/em> (CDO) at Telef\u00f3nica; Marta Flich, economist, actress, and publisher of <em>The Huffington Post&#8217;s<\/em> topical and often humourous video blog; and Manu S\u00e1nchez, comedian, presenter, actor, and businessman.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W3TtkeZnd1I\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>He is currently the director and presenter of &#8220;The Brain Hunter&#8221; on La 2 de TVE, the presenter of the science section on the programme &#8220;A Vivir&#8221; on La Ser; a conference speaker, and an adviser on science and innovation issues. He often collaborates on television channels such as La 1, Canal Cero, TV3, and print media. He was recently awarded the Museos Cient\u00edficos Coru\u00f1eses Prismas prize for dissemination of scientific culture in the video category for his work &#8220;El reloj interno&#8221;. He is also the author of <strong>&#8220;El Ladr\u00f3n de Cerebros&#8221; (2010), &#8220;Rascar donde no pica&#8221; (2012), &#8220;S=EX2: La Ciencia del Sexo&#8221; (2013), and &#8220;Comer Cerezas con los Ojos Cerrados&#8221; (2016)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He began his journalistic career working on the TVE programme Redes, where he spent four seasons as a screenwriter and scientific editor. In 2007, he was the first Spanish national to be awarded the Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at MIT. He spent eight years living between Boston; Washington, DC; and New York, working at the US National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Organization of American States (OAS), and at MIT as Knight Science Journalism Tracker. He also collaborated with Scientific American, the National Genome Institute, the SINC agency, and wrote the acclaimed blog &#8220;Apuntes Cient\u00edficos desde el MIT&#8221; in El Pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>In \u201cDialogue,\u201d Pere spoke about <strong>sexuality<\/strong>, having become a benchmark in the Spanish-speaking world on this topic as a result of his extensive work, experiences, and the repercussion of the book &#8220;<em>S=EX2: La Ciencia del Sexo<\/em>.
