Mientras estudiaba arte en la prestigiosa Escola Massana de Barcelona, cre\u00f3, junto con unos compa\u00f1eros, el fanzine\u00a0<i>C\u00edrculo primigenio<\/i>, publicaci\u00f3n que marc\u00f3 su entrada en el mundo de la ilustraci\u00f3n, el humor y el dibujo sat\u00edrico, donde enseguida destac\u00f3 por su brillantez y originalidad. Ha realizado diversas campa\u00f1as publicitarias para marcas internacionales que le han valido un justo reconocimiento a su talento: el\u00a0<b>primer premio en el Festival Publicitario de San Sebasti\u00e1n y dos oros en el Festival Publicitario Internacional de Cannes<\/b>. Tambi\u00e9n ha sido galardonado con\u00a0<b>dos premios Junceda<\/b>:\u00a0<b>al mejor libro para adultos<\/b>,\u00a0<b><i>Viviendo del cuento <\/i><\/b>(Reservoir Books, 2004), y\u00a0<b>a la mejor ilustraci\u00f3n multimedia<\/b>\u00a0<b>por su contribuci\u00f3n a la Web del programa educativo Educalia<\/b>. Es tambi\u00e9n autor de\u00a0<i>Buenos tiempos para la muerte <\/i>(Morsa, 2000) y del libro para ni\u00f1os<i>\u00a0Dentro del sombrero<\/i>\u00a0(K\u00f3kinos, 2001). Su siguiente t\u00edtulo,<i>\u00a0El Arte. Conversaciones imaginarias con mi madre<\/i>\u00a0(PRH, 2006) fue un longseller que todav\u00eda goza de una gran acogida, tanto en Espa\u00f1a como en los diversos pa\u00edses donde se ha publicado la traducci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Juanjo S\u00e1ez es, asimimo, un reconocido creador de series animadas para TV. \u201cArr\u00f2s covat\u201d, en la que se cuentan con la lucidez y humor que le caracterizan las aventuras y desventuras de un joven treinta\u00f1ero, tuvo una gran acogida desde su estreno y mereci\u00f3 el Premio Ondas. Actualmente se emite en TV3 su nueva serie \u201cHeavies tendres\u201d, una ficci\u00f3n inspirada en la propia adolescencia del artista a partir de sus vivencias familiares en el popular barrio de la Sagrera, en una Barcelona pre-ol\u00edmpica. Su \u00faltimo libro publicado es la novela gr\u00e1fica <i>Para los m\u00edos\u00a0<\/i>(Temas de Hoy, 2021), su obra m\u00e1s personal.<\/p>\n<p>El dibujante y profesor de la UMA Pepo P\u00e9rez fue
