AMZET International Network

The María Zambrano Centre for Transatlantic Studies UMA–ATECH coordinates an international network of centres, all under the same name. The centres ensure academic and scientific exchange between Europe and America through training, research and dissemination on the Atlantic axis, thus creating a space for exchange and cooperation. This initiative is based on inter-university agreements drawn up to create official centres and focal points in this network.

The AMZET International Network is made up of the University of South Florida (USF) in the United States, the Universidad Ana G. Méndez (SUAGM) in Puerto Rico, the Universidad Nacional de Misiones (UNaM) and the Universidad de Salvador (USAL) in Argentina, the Universidad Nacional de Itapúa (UNI) and the Universidad Autónoma de Encarnación (UNAE) in Paraguay. In addition to these academic institutions, there are other university centres attached to the Network as focal points or as institutions attached to the coordinating centres of each country.

Since 2017, an effort has been made to strengthen the María Zambrano International Centre for Transatlantic Studies Network which is coordinated by the University of Málaga. To date, four work areas have been created: AMZET Spain, AMZET Argentina, AMZET Puerto Rico and the United States, and AMZET Paraguay.
