In addition to the guided visits of the University of Malaga and visits to the centres or schools that request one, Destination UMA organises traditional information days in different towns in the province to get even closer to all pre-university students. During these activities, as in the guided tours, students are given guidance to help them with their future university studies. They are attended not only by the Destination UMA counsellors, but also by students from the university centres, vice-deans, and assistant directors from all UMA’s faculties and schools.
To bring the University of Malaga closer to pre-university students, Destination UMA also goes out to schools that request a visit. Visits have been organised to IES Pérez Serrano in Cortes de la Frontera, CEPER María Zambrano in Vélez-Málaga, Colegio LAUDE in San Pedro de Alcántara, and IES Almijara in Cómpeta, among others.
