DESTINO UMA General information

Destination UMA

Pre-university guidance

Destination UMA aims to provide information and guidance to pre-university students on the different degrees, career opportunities, and services offered by the University of Málaga. The UMA also aims to transfer university values to this group and involve students, parents, and career officers in this effort.

Destination UMA also arranges other activities, such as guided tours of the Teatinos and El Ejido Campuses, informative talks aimed at pre-university students from all over the province and the University of Málaga Open Days. The Open Days provide students with first-hand knowledge about degrees, university access, grants, language courses, and other matters related to the University, as well as providing answers to any questions students may have.

Since 2019, the General Foundation of the University of Málaga (FGUMA) has been commissioned by the Vice-Rectorate of Students to organise the UMA Open Doors events and other Destination UMA activities held throughout the year.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and following the Andalusian Government’s guidelines, Andalusian universities have announced the cancellation of all face-to-face teaching activities, both theoretical and practical, from 16 March on. By extension, all activities scheduled in university spaces have been cancelled. For this reason, we have started an information campaign #SoyUMA20 on our social networks with the purpose of connecting pre-university students with the centres and students of the University of Málaga.
