PATRIMONIO VIVO MÁLAGA
2020-2021

Among the objectives of the General Foundation of the University of Málaga (FGUMA), is the fostering of training, research and culture. It is within this last area that the “Patrimonio VIVO MÁLAGA” project was born.  The idea is to rediscover the elements that make up our identity, while at the same time create a space for new synergies between the citizens of Málaga and their tangible and intangible heritage.

To this end, we have developed the activities described on this webpage. We will also continue with others, some of which are already well known, such as the Environmental Photography Award, or our collaboration with other cultural institutions in the city including the Picasso Museum in Málaga, the Ateneo or the Sociedad Económica de Amigos del País (Economic Society of Friends of the Country).

As with all our activities, Patrimonio VIVO MÁLAGA has been created with the whole of society in mind and especially families and the university community. As such, we hold activities focusing on the province´s natural heritage, together with its tangible and intangible cultural heritage. These events are designed to promote respect for and appreciation of our legacy, as well as create ties that encourage us to play a leading role in its conservation.
