DIALOGUE on «masculinity and violence» with Miguel Lorente
Miguel Lorente is a forensic doctor and professor of legal medicine at the University of Granada. Since 1996, he has been a corresponding academician of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Granada. He has held different positions, including: corresponding academician of the Royal Academy of Medicine and Surgery of Granada, Director of the Institute of Legal Medicine of Granada, Director General of Legal Assistance to Victims of Violence of the Ministry of Justice, and Government Delegate for Gender Violence of the Regional Government of Andalusia.
He is the author of more than one hundred national and international publications on the following topics:
– DNA analysis in human identification within the field of criminal investigation and in the biological investigation of paternity and maternity
– Occupational medicine
– Bioethics, especially in relation to scientific research and genetic studies
